Who we are

Propel provides online tutoring for students in Grades 1 to 8. In this policy, “Propel,” “we,” and “us” refer to Propel. For questions or requests concerning this policy, contact us at support@propeltutors.com.

What you send us

We collect the information you submit through our website forms and, where applicable, a CV attached to a tutor application. Depending on the form, this may include:

• Contact enquiries: your email address and the content of your message.
• Student enquiries: the parent or guardian’s name and email address, the schools being considered, tutoring goals, and any student details included in the enquiry.
• Tutor applications: your name, email address, tutoring experience, education level, ACPT certificate number, and any CV you attach.
• Newsletter subscriptions: your email address.

What our servers record

Our hosting provider records standard technical information when this website is accessed, including IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We do not use these records to identify individuals or combine them with information submitted through our forms.

What we do with it

• Respond to enquiries and assess tutor applications.
• Verify tutor certificate numbers, as described below.
• Send occasional updates to subscribers when we have them. Those emails will include a way to unsubscribe.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Form submissions are delivered by email and are not stored in a Propel-managed application database. The following service providers handle information on our behalf:

• Vercel hosts this website and processes the technical server records described above.
• Resend delivers form submission emails.
• Zoho provides the mailboxes in which our team receives and reviews those emails.
• For tutor applications only, we send your name and certificate number to ACPT to verify that the certificate is authentic, paid for, and valid. We do not send other application information to ACPT. ACPT uses that request to look up an existing certificate and does not store the submitted name as a customer record.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising. See our Cookie Policy for further information, including error monitoring.

How long we keep it

We retain form submissions in our email system while we handle the relevant enquiry or application. We delete them when they are no longer needed for that purpose. You may request deletion sooner by contacting us.

Your rights

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request its deletion by contacting support@propeltutors.com. Where applicable, you may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, including if you are in the United Kingdom or European Union.

Children

This website’s enquiry forms are intended for parents or guardians to complete. A parent or guardian may provide information about a student when making an enquiry; children should not submit information directly through the website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. The revised policy and its effective date will be posted on this page.
